Running left-handed

By Randee Bergen

My friend, Jim, and I have been playing racquetball together for about three years now. We are a good match for each other and I suppose that is why our racquetball run has lasted as long as it has. Also, we play left-handed.

Why is my child struggling at school?

By Katrina Katen/Individual Matters

There are many reasons a child may struggle at school, and, although these may be obvious in some cases, for most children, the root cause is complex and not immediately obvious. Parents frequently report feeling frustrated, powerless and unsure how to help their child.

Working with judgment

By Sheri Covey / Ortho Bionomy Instructor

Grounding is not my way of living. I am not saying I am not solid or stable. I am just not a person of grounding. I am a person of movement. I draw my strength from the ground, nature and the lovely energy of animals

Making it about more than the number on the scale

By Samantha Williams/Personal Trainer

What if this year we did things a little differently?

Birthday climb

By Randee Bergen

I climbed Mt. Garfield for the first time seven years ago, on my 41st birthday. My children were younger then, and I knew it would be challenging. But as we got it accomplished, I remember telling my family that I wanted to do this same hike every year on my birthday.
