Troy Ward

Troy grew up in Mesa County and attended Mesa State College before earning a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine in Chico, California. He has worked in non-pharmaceutical pain management as well as at Mesa County Public Health (MCPH), first as the Suicide Prevention Coordinator and later as the facilitator for the Fruita Youth Initiative (FYI) program. Currently he is the Events and Programs Coordinator for the Town of Palisade. He is working on strengthening ties in the community through recreation and connection.
