Our Goal: Improve the health of children by empowering parents and caregivers

Parents and caregivers contribute to the contextual environments in which their children live, learn, and grow. They influence health outcomes by demonstrating behaviors and attitudes that set the tone for family and individual action. Lastly, by interacting with their children, caregivers develop connections that profoundly affect the transmission of norms and behaviors. By these three means, families impact the physical and mental status, ongoing development, and prevalence of risk behaviors among children.
