The Healthy Mesa County Calendar is a community-wide effort that combines meetings, events, and initiatives from the many Healthy Mesa County partners. These groups not only support the goal of building a healthy community but are contributing through collective efforts to realizing that vision.

Part of being healthy is being active and being part of your community. For lots of ways to get out and get involved, you can also check out the calendar managed by the Grand Junction Visitor and Convention Bureau.
During Community Streets, 10th Street from Belford to Main will be closed to non-local motorized vehicle traffic (Grand and Gunnison Avenues will be open for cross traffic). You’ll find fun family-friendly activities all along the route and at Washington Park, such as a bike rodeo, food trucks, games, entertainment, giveaways and informational booths.
The Community Streets event brings people together and encourages them to incorporate biking, walking, physical activity, and active transportation choices into their everyday lives. Ride your bike, push your stroller, hop on a skateboard, lace up your walking shoes and join us for all kinds of Community Streets fun on October 20.
It’s not every day you get to say, “Let’s play in the street!”Find out more »
