Jill Shenkel Henwood

Jill Shenkel Henwood is a Mesa County native who returned home 19 years ago and established Girls on the Run of Western Colorado, a non-profit that empowers girls through a unique combination of physical activity and social and emotional skill-building. GOTR serves more than 2,500 girls throughout Western Colorado, with more than 700 girls in Mesa County participating annually.
